I feel that in order to truly create a better world for all,we need to understand the basic fabric of language as it is spoken throughout all cultures of our world,as well as the sub-cultures within societies of countries,cities,towns around the world,Every individual interprets language according to the way they think,in accord with their generation grown up in.As we Mentors are working with the right mental focussing,before we can begin to create change within our world,we need to be able to relate,understand and communicate on all levels of peoples' language to grasp their mind-set/s in order to assist other members within our society especially our youth,not so much to try and make them understand our viewpoint with our language concepts,but by understanding their own unique generational/cultural language/s and be able to talk in their own terms.I practice this and find many of the youths where I live have come to know that I am able to relate with them on their level,understand as well as support their issues,concerns,always listen to their feelings,allowing them to share themselves for just whom they are.In doing this,unwittingly I have created a trust between our youths within the society I live in,they trust,seek me out dare to ask questions regarding many issues most would never dare bring up in the world of "Older Generational People,whom cannot relate nor understand them and vice-versa.This way many are delighted to see me in the streets,and are willing to share many feelings and issues they feel many adults just do not,cannot,won't understand.From this Trust they are learning that we speak a universal language only in diferrent ways,their self-worth improves as we interract,have lunch together,relax in a park.They feel no seperation with myself and my Brother as they often do with,parents,teachers,other figures of Authority.In this way my brother & I have helped many young people 2 change their thoughts from negative-positive,despair-hope,sense of worthlessness-worthiness having everything to give to this world-towards being the solution rather than the problem.One word Helping to show them self-empowerment & how to use it in good meaningful ways.Guiding them to find their own inner-selves & the Truth of whom they each are.
