As usual, stories like this, repeated so many times, only mandate the kind of action represented by support for better housing, food and water.
This pending relief must be made available the soonest possible. This can be anywhere in the world.

Perhaps the World Prem*iere *of* *"The ABC Song"* *coming up when the World March For Peace reaches Los Angeles on 12/02/2009 and the marchers congregate at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church for a PEACE CONCERT can be a way to share what is possible. We are grateful to BEYOND CATEGORY Band

for its initiative to create this great song already hailed by the PEACE CONCERT organizer and MC for the evening:
"Hello, it was a real pleasure to speak with you tonight :) The track you sent me is great!!! I think the BC band will be perfect to set the celebratory tone."

PEACE,
Burt
This Thanksgiving, we'd like to express our thankfulness to you, our fellow
marchers. This year, you've emailed and remailed many messages and spent
valuable time making calls to your friends to let them know of our
fundraisers in OC, and of next Wednesday's activities in LA.
Without your efforts, there would be no World March for Peace and
Nonviolence in Los Angeles.
We hope to meet you personally next Wednesday 2nd, below are directions to
the events.
Thank you for all you do towards peace and nonviolence,
Alec Marken and Mayra Gomez
George Kistiakowsky, a Harvard University chemistry professor who had worked
on the first atomic bomb, and later was science advisor to President
Eisenhower, became spokesman for the disarmament movement. His last public
remarks, before his death from cancer at the age of eighty-two, were in the
editorial for the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists in December 1982.
"I tell you as my parting words: Forget the channels. There simply is not
enough time left before the world explodes. Concentrate instead on
organizing, with so many others of like mind, a mass movement for peace such
as there has not been before."

Kenyans draw weapons over shrinking resources

Experts fear the conflicts involving cattle, water and land may be just the
beginning of climate-driven violence in Africa. At least 400 people have
died in northern Kenya this year, the U.N. says.
