The 8th University on Youth and Development will take place from 30 September to 7 October 2007 in Mollina (Spain).
It will offer to close to 300 young people and youth organisations, from the different regions of the World, a space for debate where they will be able to discuss their realities and draw lessons from each others experience, fostering their role as active stakeholders of the local, regional and international development.
The theme of the 2007 Edition of the University on Youth and Development is "Alliance of civilizations – Dialogue of cultures".
This event is hosted by the Spanish Youth Institute and organised by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe in collaboration with other partners such as the European Youth Forum, the Latin American Youth Forum, the Spanish Youth Council and other international youth organisations.
So, Kate we thank you for representing ABC4All and YFCI, partners working together closely to help improve communities throughout the world. It has become clear that youth of the world both want to contribute and often are viewing themselves as critical in the development of true harmony and peace in the world. While cultural diversity is respected, there is clear UNITY in DIVERSITY which is represented by the CELEBRATION OF ONENESS Movement:
